Can you legally sell a Suno track?
Yes, if you made it on a paid plan. That is the whole rule, and it is worth getting right before you upload anything.
Made on Suno's free tier
Licensed for personal, non commercial use, with credit to Suno. You cannot sell it, and subscribing later does not go back and cover it. If a track you want to sell was made free, generate it again while subscribed.
Made on a paid Suno plan
Suno assigns you the rights to output generated during a paid subscription, which includes selling it and keeping what you earn. No attribution required, and Suno takes no cut of the sale.
Commercial rights are not the same as copyright. Suno can grant you the right to sell a track, but whether a largely AI generated work is protected by copyright is decided by the copyright office where you live. Selling does not depend on it. Suing someone who copies you might.

What is not taken out
- Card processing. Our commission covers it, Stripe fees come out of our side.
- Listing fees. Upload as many tracks as your storage allows, at no cost.
- Payout minimums. Your first sale pays out, there is no threshold to clear.
- Per download charges. Buyers can re-download what they bought.
- Anything from your Suno subscription. That is between you and Suno.
Against streaming
A stream pays somewhere around £0.003, and a distributor takes its own cut of that. One £4.99 sale on Studio puts £4.84 in your account, which is roughly 1,600 streams of the same song.
Streaming is for reach. Selling the file is for income. Most people who do well with Suno tracks do both, and nothing here stops you.

Make it on a paid Suno plan
Commercial rights come with the subscription, so generate the track while you are subscribed. Songs made on the free plan are not covered later.
Download the audio
Take the WAV from Suno where you can. MP3 works, but buyers paying for a file notice the difference, and so does the preview we build from it.
List it in the desktop app
Create a release, choose the file, add artwork, pick a category, set your price and pick how the preview works. Hit upload and the app builds the rest.
Get paid per sale
Connect Stripe once. Every sale lands in your Stripe balance at the moment it happens, minus the commission for your plan.
The app does the tedious part
Putting a track up for sale means a preview, a waveform, streaming files, artwork and metadata. You do none of that. You create a release, pick the file you downloaded from Suno, fill in the details, set a price, choose how the preview works, and press upload. The app handles everything after that.
It is where releases are made, so this is the step you download it for. Same account and same store, and the listing is live on your Audibase page when it finishes.

What it does for you
One screen, one upload
Pick the file you downloaded from Suno, then fill in the title, artist, description, tags, category, price and who can see it. All of it sits on the same form.
You decide what listeners hear
Three ways to do a preview: the whole track at lower quality, a section of 20 to 60 seconds that you drag out on the waveform, or the full track with your own audio tag dropped in at points you choose.
Artwork without leaving the app
Drag an image in, or let it lift the artwork already embedded in the file, or search the built in stock library if the track has none.
The rest is built for you
On upload it works out the BPM, key and scale that Suno never gave you, draws the waveform, encodes the preview and the streaming files, writes the metadata into the track and puts the listing live.
Listeners hear a preview. Buyers get the track.

Questions Suno creators ask
Can I sell music I made with Suno?
Yes, if you generated it while subscribed to a paid Suno plan. Suno assigns you the rights to output made during a paid subscription, which includes selling it. Tracks made on the free plan are licensed for personal, non commercial use with attribution to Suno, and a later upgrade does not cover them retroactively.
Do I need Suno Pro or Premier?
You need one of Suno's paid tiers at the moment the song is generated. Check the current tiers on Suno's pricing page, and read their rights article for what the subscription grants. Audibase does not resell or bundle Suno, you keep your own account with them.
How much does Audibase take?
It depends on your Audibase plan. Free sellers pay 15% per sale, Pro pays 8%, Studio pays 3%. That percentage is the whole fee. Card processing is inside it, so nothing else is subtracted before the money reaches you.
Do I own the copyright to a Suno track?
Commercial use rights and copyright are two different things. Suno grants you the right to use and sell the output, but whether a largely AI generated work qualifies for copyright is decided by the copyright office in your country, not by Suno or by us. Selling a track does not depend on registering it.
When do I get paid?
At the point of sale. Audibase uses Stripe Connect, so the buyer's payment is split as it is taken and your share goes straight to your connected Stripe account. Stripe then pays out to your bank on whatever schedule you set with them, usually daily or weekly.
Can I sell the same track elsewhere too?
Yes. Nothing here is exclusive. Plenty of sellers put a track on streaming through a distributor for reach, and sell the actual file here for income. The two do not conflict.
Do I need the desktop app to sell?
Yes, for putting a track up. Releases are created in the Audibase desktop app for Mac and Windows, because listing one means encoding a preview, drawing a waveform and generating streaming files from your audio, and that work happens on your machine. It is free on every plan. Everything else, your sales, your payouts, your store page, is on the website.
What do buyers actually download?
The file you uploaded, whole and untouched. Free listeners hear a preview clip you pick, at a reduced bitrate, optionally tagged. A buyer gets none of that: full length, full quality, no tag.
Do I have to credit Suno on tracks I sell?
Not on a paid plan. The attribution requirement applies to the free tier, which is non commercial anyway. Read Suno's terms for the current wording, since they are theirs to change.
What does it cost to start?
Nothing. The Free plan sells at 15% with 2 GB of storage and no time limit. Pro at £9.99 a month and Studio at £19.99 a month cut the commission and add storage, and they only make sense once you are selling enough for the lower rate to pay for itself.
